OPRA Former Master Thesis Student Will Present Our Joint Research Paper At The ASME Turbo Expo

Congratulation to Eva van Beurden, OPRA former master thesis student for The ASME IGTI Young Engineer Turbo Expo Participation Award.

Eva performed her master thesis in collaboration with OPRA on the topic of gas turbine combustion simulations. The award is intended for young engineers working in the gas turbine or related fields to obtain funding to attend ASME Turbo Expo.

During the Turbo Expo conference in June 2021, she will present the paper ‘Improved Cfd Predictions of Pyrolysis Oil Combustion Using Advanced Spray Measurements and Numerical Models’, which was jointly authored by OPRA Turbines and the University of Twente.
