HR Manager (0.6 - 0.8 FTE)

We are searching for an HR Manager (0.6 – 0.8 FTE) that will help us facilitate our team members to drive the energy transition! About the job

As an HR Manager, based in our office in Hengelo (NL), you will be the go-to person for all HR matters. Your main objective as an HR manager is to add value and help the company reach its goals successively.

In practice this means that you will be responsible for:

  • Developing HR strategies, policies, manuals and processes (ISO 9001-2015) in close cooperation with the leadership team.
  • Providing HR advice to the leadership team on request and on your own initiative.
  • Supporting the Hiring Manager with the successful (international) recruitment of new colleagues.
  • Monitoring the correct on-, cross-, and offboarding of colleagues, together with the Office & HR assistant to ensure a good employee journey.
  • Monitoring employee performance and development (e.g. OPRA Academy, supporting the leadership team in development trajectories).
  • Measuring and monitoring employee satisfaction and acting upon this.
  • Providing legal advice when it concerns Dutch labor law.
  • Staying in contact with the Works Council, and Prevention Officer on HR matters.
  • A correct HR administration (digital files; HR reporting) by providing guidance to the Office & HR assistant.
  • Staying abreast of new developments in the field of HR and Dutch law.

You will be assisted administratively by the Office & HR assistant who reports to the Finance Manager. Moreover, you will work together with the Financial accountant that is responsible for a correct salary administration. The HR Manager reports to the CEO of OPRA Turbines.

Your profile

We are looking for a colleague that is a self-starter, well organized, a team player and has organization sensitivity. Moreover, you thrive in a dynamic, challenging, and international environment.

You meet the following criteria:

  • Someone with a bachelor’s level or equivalent in HR.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in the field of HR.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Dutch labor law.
  • Experience with applying for Dutch work- and residence permits is a plus.
  • Experience in the technology industry and/or in a global, multicultural context is a plus.
  • Dutch and English language and communication skills (verbal and in writing) on CEFR level C1.
  • Result-oriented and responsible personality.
  • Key competencies: keeping overview, being flexible, organization sensitivity, excellent communication and advice skills.

  • This is a part-time position (24h. – 32 h.);

  • A salary between € 3700 and € 4500 gross per month (based on a 40 hour working week). Perspective to grow to € 5356.
